für den Workshop der RG Ozeanien
auf der DGV-Tagung in Frankfurt a.M.
(30. September - 3. Oktober 2009)

Die RG Ozeanien möchte mit dem Workshop „Aktuelle Forschungen in der Ozeanistik“ ein Forum bieten, Forschungen im Bereich der Ozeanistik zu präsentieren und zu diskutieren. Er ist daher in einem ersten Teil thematisch offen gehalten und soll vor allem dazu dienen, den im Rahmen der RG Ozeanien in den letzten Jahren angestoßenen Austausch über die For-schungsregion Ozeanien sowohl innerhalb der Ethnologie als auch interdisziplinär zu fördern. Es sind deshalb alle herzlich zu Präsentationen eingeladen, die sich mit dem Forschungsge-biet Ozeanien beschäftigen und ihre Forschungen und Projekte im Rahmen der RG Ozeanien diskutieren möchten. Der zweite Teil des Workshops wird sich dem Schwerpunktthema „Kulturelle Aneignungen: Anverwandlung – Anpassung – Camouflage“ widmen, für das eben-falls zu Präsentationen mit entsprechender thematischer Fokussierung aufgerufen wird. Die unterschiedlichen Arten der Aneignung kultureller Formen sind gerade in Ozeanien von be-sonderer Dynamik und können unter vielfältigen Aspekten betrachtet werden. Insbesondere die Zusammenhänge transnationaler Gemeinschaften, komplexer Migrationssysteme, viel-fältiger Identitätspolitiken und verschiedener Konzepte von „Eigentum“ sind Themen, die von besonderer Relevanz sind und eingehend diskutiert werden sollen.
Gedacht sind in beiden Teilen Präsentationen von jeweils 20 Minuten mit anschließender Diskussion.
